The DEM6 Door Entrance and Display Module is a configurable, multifunction device providing additional display, annunciation, and control capabilities anywhere on the PolyGard®2 digital sensor network. Display functions include gas sensor readings, alarm status with customizable alarm messages, relay status and system faults.
When used in systems mastered by a PolyGard®2 Controller, such as the DGC6 or CGC6, the DEM6 (slave version) is ideal for multi-zone detection in facilities where displaying real-time information away from the primary gas controller is beneficial.
When used with PolyGard®2 field devices such as SGC6, the DEM6 (master version) is a flexible remote display of gas values.
The available open collector (digital) output can be used to activate external annunciation devices, activate a door lock or dynamically perform any other control or signaling function.
