"Mechanical ventilation systems for enclosed parking garages shall operate continuously or shall be automatically operated by means of carbon monoxide detectors applied in conjunction with nitrogen dioxide sensors. Such detectors shall be listed in accordance with UL 2075 and installed in accordance with their listing and the manufacturers’ instructions."
Codes have evolved. UL 2075 is required in carbon monoxide monitoring applications as defined by the International Mechanical Codes (IMC). Download our whitepaper to understand the evolution of the Mechanical Code and current code year implementation by state, what the UL 2075 Standard is, why compliance with the Standard is the best way to ensure human safety and minimize operating costs, and how to determine if a sensor is UL 2075 Listed.
